“All grown-ups were children first, but few of them remember it!”Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

A life on the road
Passionate about photography and nature since my childhood, I set off to discover the world in 2000 with a team of six: Eurasiam, a round-the-world trip by yellow school bus and 2CV.
In July 2002, Catherine and I left by bike for a year and a half: Vél’Horizons Africa, from Turkey to Madagascar, including seven months in Ethiopia. The pictures from that journey made me a laureate of the Belgian Vocation Foundation.
Books followed (Ethiopia, Cyprus, Romania, the EuroVélo 6 crossed by bike with our two little girls, Namibia), films presented live to audiences, and the trips I guide in Ethiopia, Romania, Madagascar and Namibia.
